Pine trees planted on the south end of "the corner" - the 20 acres the Harry's once owned at the southeast corner of 71st and 103rd. Dick and Joanne Inghram live there now.
This is a view of the old bridge in the ravine between the Harrys and the Fowlers. The bridge was replaced long ago with a tube. The creek was a great place to play in the summer. We built dams, caught crayfish, and picked off bloodsuckers. The creek widened at the bridge, where we fished and built rafts. The area was kept mowed by the cows. Now it is so full of brush that you can hardly walk through it.
This building is now lodging for farm help, but is was originally built to raise young turkeys.
